That's right, ladies and gentlemen, the very rough, very raw version of the wonder song written on the first day with Axel and Zach is ready. I know it took about a week to get it done, but damn GarageBand is frustrating to deal with. I accidently over-dubbed the song about 9 times and couldn't figure out how to undo it correctly. And now I can't figure out how to actually get it to play on here because it won't let me upload it. Anyone got suggestions on how to get a recording from GarageBand uploaded and/or make a video of it. I need the world to hear this song. I'm going to try and mess around with this today and get it up. **UPDATE @ 6:17AM*** Another early morning leads to a breakthrough. I think I figured out how to upload it, though you have to look at the same cheesy picture the entire time. Sorry. Someone want to make me a video?
So anyway, some of my week plans got turned around at the last minute because the lady who wants to film me for her documentary really wanted to see the next two days events, one of which I was going to do today, but it didn't work. No big deal, you will see and hear and smell all about it tomorrow.
Today ended up working out well, as my buddy and old roommate Kyle called and said he had an extra couple of tickets to the Yankees game. Nothing like baseball in the fall at the house that corruption and public tax dollars built. This led me to think about the suggestion I got by Kris to go to a Yankees/Red Sox game dressed in Red Sox garb. Well the Yankees were playing the Blue Jays tonight, but I figured this may be my only opportunity this year to do it, so I grabbed Christina's roommate's Red Sox cap and headed to the game.
Quick note here. I do not like the Red Sox at all, and really don't like the Yankees. As a Rockies fan, these two teams bug me...oh I we have sooo much money and our players are drama kings and blah blah blah. Mile high baseball is where it's at. Believe in Rocktober. But for the sake of fun I put on the hat and off we went.
I was a little nervous about this, as the two teams, and their fans, have a long history of hatred, like John Locke and Jack Shepard, or Garfield and Otis. But as it turned out, Yankees fans were pretty cordial. I mean obviously a few dirty looks here, snide comments there, but for the most part they were indifferent. This is probably due to the fact that the Yankees are KILLING the Red Sox in the standings. And also to do our tickets were almost at the top of the stadium, so there were less people around. Bummer.
I think the best part of the night was the guy sitting near us who had to be one of the biggest Yankee fans out there. His wheelchair scooter was decked out in Yankees garb, stickers, and cup holders. It even had a giant baseball helmet for a hood, baseball bats for arm rests, and interestingly enough, a Irish flag. Alright. Keep on good sir.
Make sure you vote today on things I should do next week. Don't like any of the suggestions? Send in your ideas to me. Thanks for following along friends.
