People Have Crazy Imaginations

Everybody is working for the weekend. A three day weekend that is. Labor day. A day of rest and relaxation. And bbqing. And drinking Budweiser (or a Redbridge beer if your gluten free like me and my homies). I gotta say I am excited for the weekend to walk around town and enjoy the festivals. Also, due to my recent addiction to board games, it will offer plenty of time for people to be around to challenge me to Yahtzee, Backgammon, Checkers, or Scrabble. And labor day also means the almost start of football season, though there isn't much to look forward to with my Denver Broncos.

Anyway, thanks to all the people who have suggested things so far. I got a lot of good ones. Keep them coming in. And please continue to email your friends about this site to get their suggestions. I have two people from Croatia who checked out the site yesterday. Awesome!

So today I thought I would give you a little sneak peak at some of the ideas I have gotten thrown my way, just a teaser of what may come in the future of Make My Day. So here a few:

Become a certified cab driver
Celeb hunt in NYC
Go to Rocky Horror Picture Show and say I'm a virgin, and it's my birthday
Spend a night as a homeless person
Give a tour to a group of foreigners
Apply for jobs as a male model

This is only the tip of the iceberg, which is exciting. So many to do, so little time. There is one that I am thinking about starting early because it will require a lot of time. It comes from Michael and he says:

Hey man I think what you're doing is awesome. Here's an idea...
Over the next while look on craigslist at the free stuff and find whatever you can and build a vehicle/boxcar to ride down a back-road in.

Awesome. This will be great. I'll start checking it out today and keep you all abreast of what I have found. I have absolutely no experience in building things of this nature. I was never a boy scout. It's a good thing my roommate is an engineer.

The weekend. Work for it.
